Rachel - Blue Badge London and Countryside Guide
I’ve lived in London since I was three years old, which means I’ve done all my schooling here and went on to spend eleven years working in the corporate world (frequenting many of the London watering holes after a hard day at the office!) Therefore, I know how to get from point A to B via the quickest route, where the good pubs/eating places are and how to get off the well-trodden tourist trail to the places where real Londoners hang out.
I provide an insider’s perspective on its numerous attractions and rich history, and can assist with ideas for nights out or onward exploration.
I am a qualified London Blue Badge Guide, which is a two year course and enables me to guide both London and places outside the capital including Bath, Stratford Upon Avon and Oxford.

I would love to show you both sides of the capital, the historic castles, museums, palaces and shops, as well as the London of today, that we Londoners call home. With a background in corporate hospitality and events, I like to add a sparkle to any tour, and find the particular twist that you are looking for

With a background in professional theatre, I believe the essence of good guiding is storytelling and as a gifted communicator I aim to bring the story of London to life for you.
Martin - Blue Badge London Guide
A youthful, engaging Blue Badge Guide with a insatiable curiosity for London. Stepping onto the streets of this city is to enter a novel: a 2000-year-old novel. My aim is to bring London’s rich, extraordinary, and often dark past to life and use it to explain the London that we live in today.

I was born and educated in London and although I have travelled extensively, I have always lived in London. After graduating from the Central School of Speech & Drama in 1980, I worked regularly as a professional actor in all mediums – film, television, London’s West End, provincial theatre and radio – not only in Britain, but in many European countries. With a keen interest in history, I qualified as a London Blue-Badge Guide in 1999 and my work includes Driver-Guiding, walking and River Thames tours, lecturing, cathedral, museum and gallery visits.
I am also a tutor at The American Institute of Foreign Studies (UK), Richmond University In London and The Florida State University London Study Centre. I lecture on ‘The English Monarchy’, ‘The Palace of Westminster’, ‘Hampton Court Palace’, ‘Winston Churchill’, ‘The Battle of Britain’ and ‘The History of British Theatre’. My specialty subjects range from The Beatles, to Winston Churchill, to Jewish London and the Battle of Britain.
I have gained endorsements recognised by the Institute of Tourist Guiding at The Palace of Westminster, the British Museum, Somerset House, Canterbury Cathedral, Salisbury Cathedral and London Venues for 2012.
Geoff - Blue Badge London Guide
American by birth, I came to London in 1995 to launch The History Channel where I spent 13 years as Managing Director. Now I spend my time guiding, rowing on the Thames and walking in the Apennines. I like guiding people who are curious about history and culture (high and low), and who enjoy a good wander and a good conversation…although I can do all the talking if they prefer! What I like most is seeing people get the buzz that London gives me.

Hugh - Blue Badge London and Countryside Driver Guide
I was born in London and have lived here all my life. I went to school next to Westminster Abbey, so all those years immersed in the history and pageantry of this nation have given me a great enthusiasm for our history and culture.
I spent most of my life working in the film business, mostly as a location manager. My credits include Chariots of Fire, The Killing Fields and The English Patient. I was lucky enough to travel all over the world in the movies and subsequently doing aerial photography.
I am particularly interested in the architecture, art, culture and society of the 17th and 18th centuries, Christopher Wren is my great hero. I love the theatre and go whenever I can. I am also very interested in the history of science and engineering, having a particular interest in old cars. I own some classic cars myself and repair vintage and veteran cars for other people
